BLUET

Design Challenge: 

Create a brand and package for an entirely new product category – Wild Blueberry Sparkling Wine.

Strategy: 

Adapt packaging standards of classic French Champagne for the flagship release.

Develop a visual narrative of the brand involving iconic elements of the place: Maine, and the product: blueberries.

As a new product category, ensure the branding always reinforces the product description: ‘Maine Wild Blueberry Sparkling Wine” until this description and the visual story become synonymous with the name, BLUET.

Success: 

BLUET is now in markets across the US, with positive reviews from the New York Times and Yankee Magazine.  A new product category has been established and BLUET is the flagship, synonymous with Wild Blueberry Sparkling Wine from Maine.
